This project from September 2022 involved the design, manufacture and installation of a large fitted hallway storage unit with shelving, display, lighting, designated seating area, coat rack and to fit between wall to pillar and floor to ceiling. The apartment is located in Southend On Sea, Essex. The various photos below show the installation taken over two and a half days. As the design was large and fitted in a fairly narrow hallway we wanted to create a feeling of lightness and constructed the main cabinetry to appear as if it was floating off the floor. The oak veneered design was finished in a light grey stain to compliment other furniture within the property. The LED lighting was controlled by the main light switch when entering, allowing you to have either hallway lighting on or / and cabinetry lighting. The three mirror panels were carefully attached the old fashioned way using mirror fittings.
